Nike SB P-Rod III Sport Red

Nike SB P-Rod III Sport RedNike Skateboarding has released photos of another colorway of the upcoming P-Rod III.

The Nike SB P-Rod III is comprised of a Sport Red suede makeup. Accents come in the form of black on the midsole, with white being placed on the logos and laces. The P-Rod logo is mixed into a quilted-like pattern across the toebox, side panel, and heel area. Look for these to arrive at Nike Skateboarding retailers, such as Poets, soon.

Nike SB Today Was A Good Day

If you weren’t one of the handful of people that got their hands on the limited edition version that dropped at the Maloof Money Cup, you’ll be able to pick up the Nike SB P-Rod III at Nike Skateboarding retailers on August 8th. To help launch the shoe, Nike SB and P-Rod teamed up with another street legend from Los Angeles, Ice Cube. Rodriguez and the SB team will be launching a special edition of the commercial on July 31st at the P-Rod III website.

Nike SB P-Rod III White/Black/Red

We recently got a look at the P-Rod 2.5 which featured a vulcanized sole. A big change from the first, second and now, the third, of P-Rod’s signature shoes.

The Nike SB P-Rod III features the traditional Zoom Air that has become a regular part of the P-Rod lineup. Aesthetically speaking, the look of a Zoom Air midsole is a big part of what makes the P-Rod series for me. However, the vulcanized sole has been making a big push in the sneaker industry, and aids in keeping things under control for lifelong newbies on the board like myself.

Would you rather have the Zoom Air, or a vulcanized sole?
