Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Burgundy

Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Burgundy

Just yesterday we got a look at Team Patta’s conversation with Complex, where we got a good look at previous collaborations and an even better look at the Pro-KEDS Royals we saw this summer. But the talk of the video seems to be a sneak peak of the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 that crew member gave us.

If you don’t already know, the association between Dutch artist Parra and retailer Patta runs deep, so it should come as no surprise that these Nikes perfectly match the Parra x Nike Sportswear Varsity jacket released with the Air Maxim 1. These could very well be a sample of Parra’s, not Patta’s, work with Nike, given the style and colorway. These feature a burgundy upper, mixing what appears to be suede with a carpeted Swoosh. The tongue logo uses the same treatment, with a light blue that matches the top eyelet and outsole section. No word on what the story is with these Nikes, but if they release, do you plan to grab a pair?

Parra x Nike Air Maxim 1 Now Available

Parra x Nike Air Maxim 1 Now AvailableSome of you loved this Nike Air Maxim 1 when we saw it last, and some scoffed. But for those who felt the former, you’ll be pleased to know that these have officially released.

Dutch artist and designer Parra paired with Nike on these, using a light blue and red splatter pattern on the sole, with the same colors appearing again for accents and contrast stitching. A Parra label also appears on the tongue. As mentioned above, there are now available at select retailers, including Proper, Sneaker Bistro. Proper’s in LA and Bistro’s in NYC, so both coasts have a shot at these.

Parra x Nike Air Maxim 1

Parra x Nike Air Maxim 1Parra has been doing his thing lately as he has been promiscuously pairing up with footwear giants such as Nike and Vans. The focal point of this Nike Air Maxim 1 resides in the speckled midsole which aesthetically functions as a frame around the air bubble and additionally aids in illuminating the shoe’s two-tone contrast stitching. The two-tone motif extends to the laces allowing for them to connect the prevailing black upper with the accent of the teal eyelets. Lastly, customized tongue tags and insoles display Parra’s designs.

Parra x Nike Air Maxim 1

Parra x Nike Air Max 1

On the list of “artists that run the sneaker game” Parra pretty much sits on top as of late. In a relatively short amount of time, we’ve seen him collab with Vans, have his designs applied to the Patta x Asics pack, and also collab with ALIFE and Nike.

The Parra x Nike Air Maxim 1 recently surfaced on the web. Not much info is available, but the Dutch artist’s graphics are unquestionable. The colorway is very simple compared to his previous works. The Air Max 1 receives a Flywire treatment throughout the side panel. A speckled midsole and Parra’s signature colors can be seen in various places on the classic running shoe.

Parra x Vans Pack

Parra x Vans PackDutch artist, Parra, has teamed up with a number of sneaker and streetwear companies. His art has found a place in our culture more so than most artists dream of. His latest project is the Parra x Vans Pack.

The pack consists of two shirts featuring Parra’s Artwork, alongside two Vans sneakers, the low top Era, and the Sk8 Hi. The Era is done up in a simple colorway, which uses Parra’s seemingly signature colors. The Sk8 Hi features drawings of skateboards done in similar colors, which can be found on one of the shirts as well.

Check out pics of the pack after the break, which should be available in July. Via mashkulture.
