Pop. Soda. Coke. No matter what you call them, the sugary carbonated beverages so many of us are addicted to have inspired all four pairs of Basket IIs in this pack from Puma. Coke Classic, Diet Coke, Fanta and Root Beer have all been given their own sneaker design.

The Coke Classics and Diet Coke use alternating colorways, mixing red, white and silver leather over one another. The silver is used as a base for the Diets, while red is used for the arch. The Cokes get the opposite treatment, donning red with white. The Fanta pair is done up with orange leather while white and navy blue are used for accent. Finally, brown is used with hints of orange for the root beer pair, bringing the pack home. We’re still holding out for a Crystal Pepsi-inspired Puma.

If you recall, Puma released a two-set of the Basket model in mid-May. The colorways, which featured white/orange and black/purple, coincided with the spring/summer season perfectly. In the same manner, Puma will release two subtle, fall/winter ready Basket styles shortly.

The Puma Basket has often been applauded for its simplicity, and these particular styles nonetheless add to its easy-going look. Obviously, the most eye-catching of the two is the metallic silver pair. The only spots not smothered in metallic silver are the Puma stripe logo and the shoelaces which contain a glitter-like design. The other pair simply owns a black leather base with similar shoelaces. The Clyde model receives the most attention out of any of the Puma models, and rightfully so. However, Puma recently created this “Brights” Pack involving one of its other freshly designed models, the Puma Basket.

Although this two-sneaker grouping is dubbed the Puma “Brights” Pack, it seems to consists of only one brightly-colored shoe. It’s white leather upper contains an orange Foamstripe Puma logo located on the side panels. The remaining pair possesses a black base with a purple Foamstripe Puma logo.
