Slam Jam AF1 Optical Force (Detailed Look)
Posted by George Kiel III | Sep 17, 2008 Yesterday, we showed you the first look at the initial Air Force One collaboration between Nike and the Milan shop SlamJam. Today, we bring you an in-depth look at one of the two colorways made. Draped in solid black, the “Optical Force” comes in a rare, wrinkled patent leather texture. The wrinkled texture, which is a rich, Italian leather, gives the shoe a very slick look never seen before. It almost looks as if the shoe is dripping wet!
As stated yesterday, the sneaker is imprinted with the SlamJam logo on the heel and features a leather midsole. Did Nike spice up the Air Force One collection with this collaboration?
