Tony Parker PE Nike HyperdunkLast weekend, Nike opened the much anticipated Los Angeles House of Hoops by Foot Locker. The House of Hoops in Harlem has been a mecca for limited release sneakers since it opened.

Tony Parker PE Nike HyperdunkToday, Friday, October 10th, Nike celebrated its highly anticipated Los Angeles grand opening of House of Hoops by Foot Locker. Before today, Harlem, NY was the only location for HOH. This basketball hotbed supplies hoops fans with access to some of the Lakers PE footwear of Kobe Bryant, Lamar Odom, Derek Fisher and Pau Gasol.

Located at the Beverly Center Mall in LA, HOH will feature a hardwood basketball half-court as well as two big screen TV’s for visitors to check out behind-the scenes-interviews with superstar players and commercials from the Jordan, Nike and Converse brands.

An item making its debut at the HOH is the Nike Hyperdunk Tony Parker PE which feature a printed picture of NBA Live ‘09 Cover. This is arguably one of the best Hyperdunk colorways seen yet!

Besides showcasing the Amare Stoudamire PE Hyperdunk, the Tony Parker PE Hyperdunk is the latest shoe in this mold to surface. However, this is not your regular Hyperdunk.

Recently, Tony Parker just scored his first video game cover (EA Sports’ NBA Live ‘09); therefore, Nike and EA Sports have collaborated to form this limited edition. The actual game cover picture is featured on the translucent rubber bottom of the shoe.

The upper and shoelaces are 100% metallic silver while the toe cap cover is pixelated. The ‘TP’ logo is visible on the tongue, and the flywire upper paneling is clear. Is this the best Hyperdunk so far?
