Shop Shout : Primitive
Posted by vulkan | Nov 5, 2008 Paul Rodriguez is one of the nicest cats you will ever meet, so it brings me great pleasure to introduce the Nice Kicks readers to his shop, Primitive. Primitive, located in Encino, CA, carries the top Nike SB products, but also gets all of the urban account and quickstrike goodies. They also carry all the popular streetwear brands we all know and love. The team that works there are working class dudes who know their kicks and gear to help you find whatever you are looking for.
Premium Plus had the chance to go in the store and take some pictures and interview Paul about the store. The store has a new age look to the ancient ruins of a Mayan temple accented all around by of course skateboard gear and mementos left by Paul. If your in the area stop by and if not just call them up they do phone orders as well for those who cant get their shoes they have SB’s for days. I would like to thank Jubal Jones for his help and shout to Andy Netkin and Paul of course for doing it up like this! Primitive |

Doernbecher Children’s Hospital has been working with Nike every year to help raise money to fund research and basic operations. Every year as you all know five shoes from the Doernbacher series drop and the money from those sales are contributed to the hospital. These were designed by Tony Taylor Jr., nicknamed Mr. Boober, who battled Nephrotic Syndrome and underwent a successful kidney transplant at the hospital.
Tony Parker has been destroying guards like Steve Nash and Jason Kidd for a few years now; however, it seems Nike is just now paying attention. Nike has finally blessed TP with his much-deserved signature shoe in its latest acquisition to the Nike Zoom Flight Club. Yes, in the past Nike had special edition Tony Parker Nike Dunks and he was apart of the New 6 Air Force Ones that surfaced, but basketball-wise he was stuck with the team shoes until now.
