This year, Vans has been involved in a number of collaborations including the Jahan Loh x Vans Mountain Mid, the HUF x Vans Old Skool and the Supreme x Vans Half Cab & Old Skool. Now, Vans has joined efforts with MAD Ollie magazine for another collaboration.

Vans hooked up with MAD Ollie magazine in honor of this year’s MAD Ollie music festival. As for the makeup of this Old Skool, it features a predominately black nubuck upper combined with a white vulcanized sole. The sole also features a checkerboard-like design, while the Vans logo seems to own a gradient-like design. Available now at Vans Japan. What are your thoughts on this collaboration?

The Vans Old Skool is named so for a reason. Possessing styling hints from an earlier era, it keeps thing simple, flowing and to the point. No flash, air bubbles, straps or technology. The fanciest part about this sneaker is the leather accent piece sewn along the midpanel. And later this year, it gets yet another reason to keep its name, as the 1992 colorway worn by Ray Barbee is releasing again.

17 years after its initial drop, this clean design still uses white and off-white, broken up with black laces, sole pinstriping and accent piece. Look for these later this Fall at your local Vans dealer for about $80.

San Francisco’s HUF has recently added another Vans pack to their scores of collaborations. The pack features 3 make-ups of the Vans Old Skool - all possessing a distinguishing triangle border at the top of the midsole. The red, blue, and black uppers are tonal in nature and rest on white vulcanized soles. All three shoes are branded with HUF tags and insoles and the HUF logo on the heel.

This pack is set to drop on Saturday, October 17 and will be available at the both the LA and SF HUF locations for a retail price of $85.

The latest Supreme x Vans collaboration uses the Old Skool, and the Mountain Edition sneakers. Supreme does up these Vans favorites in premium leather and nubuck. 4 colorways of each sneaker will be available, no price has been set but set your alarm clocks now because this drop won’t last long.

Available in store, at Supreme on December 4th, 2008, online December 8th, and in Japan on December 6th.
