Japan has produced some great collaborative sneakers. From the mita New Balances to the Atmos Reeboks, we’ve seen a lot of wild colorways and treatments. And keeping with that pattern, Vans has paired with Disney Store Japan on these Sk8-His.

Mickey’s silhouette appears in a repeat print in multiple colors on the uppers, while a white leather stripe lies across them. The toe half is done up in black suede, working as a canvas for the wild heel half. A pink pinstripe also appears on the white vulcanized sole. These are currently available at Japanese Disney stores, and come with a bag featuring the same pattern as the shoe.

Last time we saw the Vans Half Cab, it was sporting a green and black colorway alongside a matching Era in the “Perforated” Pack. This time, it’s wearing red and has taken a new partner in the Sk8 Hi, forming the Fall/Winter “Samil” Pack.

The Half Cab uses red and black nubuck on the uppers, filling in the gaps with a textile material in a black and white granulated print. The same print appears on the Sk8 Hi, but the red cloth liner has been replaced with a leather one. The upper red nubuck is gone, too. Both pairs sit on a white vulcanized sole with a black accent stripe and toe panel, but then again, what did you expect for these classic Vans silhouettes.

Add this pack to the long list of Vans having just released or releasing soon, right next to the Supreme x Vans Pack and the complete Fall Classics lineup, which could call for some decision-making. If you recall, around this time last year Silas celebrated its 10th-year anniversary by collaborating with Vans on a multi-colored Sk8-Hi model. This year, both sides have hooked up for yet another fresh colorway of the Sk8-Hi.

Similar to the previously-mentioned design that both sides worked on, this particular pair also possesses the Silas logo (S) on the base; however, instead of it only being featured on the Vans strip logo, it is seen throughout the entire side panel and collar area. This sneaker also owns a predominately black, red and white upper combined with a white vulcanized rubber sole. Available on September 19th at select Silas retailers.

In the spring, Vans released two brightly-colored Sk8-Hi LX colorways that were nothing less than ideal for that respective season. However, as the fall/winter season approaches, we will continue to see more and more subtle, dim-colored sneakers. With that said, Vans has applied a black/white color scheme to its Sk8-Hi LX model.

It simply features a predominately black base comprised of leather and wool (side panels, collar area, tongue). Other features include a white vulcanized rubber sole, a checkerboard-like print on the inner lining and white contrast stitching throughout the entire upper. In mid June, we notified you of the highly anticipated Jason Jessee x Vans Syndicate Sk8-Hi Pack that features two simple yet stylish Sk8-Hi colorways. Although the color schemes seem ideal for the fall/winter season, we have now spotted the pack at select retailers such as KCDC.

This particular pack consists of two highly-detailed Sk8-Hi models. Both pair feature a 100% oiled full grained leather upper giving it a very slick look to the base. However, one of the more interesting features is found on the inside of the sneaker. This shoe contains Outlast internal linings which chills your foot when its sweltering and warms your foot when its freezing. One pair will come in brown, while the other pair will feature an all-black upper. As stated earlier, you can purchase this pack at KCDC.

First off, this sneaker tribute is even smaller than the previously mentioned Bad Brains Pack seeing that it only uses two classic Vans sneakers. The Sk8-Hi contains graphics on the side panels that are similar to the bands debut album cover titled Come On Pilgrim. In addition, the Slip-On model features the same graphic, yet, it is visible on the frontal section of the shoe. Both pairs own a black/white color scheme and are finished with a white rubber sole. The Jason Jessee x Vans Sk8 Hi “Notchback” takes the classic Sk8 Hi from Vans and adds inlfuences from Jason’s creative mind. The “Notchback” is just that, a Sk8 Hi with the heel area notched to add a little more flexibility. Black leather has been placed throughout the uppers, and then accented with white stitching, and the traditional Vans vulcanized sole. These will set you back about $155 at the current conversion rates.
