Today, December 12th, 2008, the latest colorway will be hitting retailers publicly. Labeled the Nike Zoom LeBron 6 Triple Black “Batman”, this particular style possesses specific features never seen on the previous LeBron 6 styles. The most glaring feature is the LeBron/Batman logo found on the tongue. This design is similar to the Batman logo, however, it contains his number 23 in Gothic font. Supposedly, Batman is one of LeBron’s favorite superheroes. This version also features a combination of mesh and premium leather along the upper unlike the OG colorway. More pics after the jump. In tomorrow’s game, LeBron will take the court in this exclusive colorway of his latest sneaker called the Nike Zoom LeBron 6 “Big Apple”. Obviously, the colorway receives its inspiration from New York City’s nickname. The upper is covered in “candy apple” red perforated leather and patent leather accents. This sneaker is complimented with a uniquely speckled midsole as well.

Reminiscent to the Nike Zoom Lebron 5 New York Yankees, this sneaker features a navy blue/white upper. The glaring difference between the two is the pinstripes featured on the Zoom Lebron 5. However, an interesting detail on this sneaker is the series of numbers on the tongue (50-10-8). It sybolizes his 50pts., 10ast, and 8rbs. game he had against the New York Knicks last season. It was the first and only time he wore the Zoom Lebron 5’s during an NBA game. The date of that memorable game is located on the side of the sneaker.

Designed to reflect the personalities of the four LeBrons characters, “Athlete LeBron”, “Business LeBron”, “Kid LeBron” and “Wise LeBron”, “The LeBrons” will be available individually at select retail locations in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and New York beginning Saturday, October 25, and in Cleveland on Sunday, October 26. Each of “The LeBrons” shoes incorporates materials and colors that represent the characters’ exuberant personalities. The sneakers also feature a photo of the character on the inside of the tongue as well as a silhouette of the character along the sock liner of the sneaker. The limited edition sneakers will be available for a suggested retail price of $160.

To celebrate the launch of “The LeBrons,” Nike will host The LeBron James Block Party on Sunday, October 26, in Cleveland. The LeBron James Block Party is a consumer event that brings together the Cleveland community for an afternoon of games and activities that include basketball, video games and music.
