Nike Zoom Kobe 4 ‘West Coast’

Nike Zoom Kobe 4 West CoastThe last time we showed you the Nike Zoom Kobe 4, many of you applauded the performance technology of the shoe but were disgusted by the low-cut appearance. This exclusive Nike Zoom Kobe 4 ‘West Coast’ may change your opinion.

Draped in a black upper, with gold and purple accents, this sneaker is obviously inspired by the Los Angeles Lakers colorway. “Carpe Diem”, which means ’seize the day’ in Latin, is imprinted, in gold, on the tongue of the shoe. A bull, the numbers 97 and 09 are also visible on the tongue in gold as well.

Obviously, this particular colorway of the Kove 4 will be more limited than the others; however, if you do not want to wait till January you can snag a pair early at Marquee Sole. More pics after the jump provided by Marquee Sole. Is this a hit or miss for Nike?

Nike Zoom Kobe III “Super Maize”

Super MaizeThe Zoom Kobe III took a very left field approach in design that drew jaw dropping reactions when it initially hit the market. Later on it would become a gym favorite for its unorthodox looks and great performance reviews from all around.

Before the Nike Hyperdunk came around, Nike released one more colorway people wanted in some limited numbers. In Taiwan, the very last colorway of the Zoom Kobe III was released in the “Super Maize” tone which is basically the cousin of the initial general release with an incredible injection of yellow.

Kobe has a great fan base spanning across the Pacific and with that comes many exclusives released out of immediate reach for the North American consumer. These just popped up on eBay.
