Former Al-Qaeda Member Richard Reid attempted to blow up a plan with explosives in his shoe just three months after unforgettable September 11 events in 2001. Luckily, the American Airlines Flight 63, from Paris to Miami, was immediately directed to the Logan International Airport in Boston, and the explosive did not detonate.
