The Nike Air Force 1 was a performance-ready monster when it originally released in 1982. Nike struck gold when they incorporated air sole technology, which was defined by the simple concept of the”poured polyurethane midsole.” Worn on court by Moses Malone, Jamaal Wilkes and later Rasheed Wallace, the shoe translated from an on-court shoe to one of, if not the most casually worn Nike ever created.
