Footwear Brands Celebrate “Awards Season”

Every year, most sneaker brands provide their players with holiday-themed player exclusives. We’ve seen decorated sneakers for Christmas Day, Veterans Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, St. Patrick’s Day and many others. This season, however, brought about a new theme in January. Brands, such as Jordan, adidas and Under Armour surprisingly provided the majority of their players with gold-accented “Awards Season” exclusives in celebration of the Grammy Awards, The Oscars, the Academy Awards and more. Carmelo Anthony, Stephen Curry and others debuted these PEs on Grammy Night.
