Nike KDII “Velvet Hoop”
Nike chose Kevin Durant to be one of the lead endorsers for the Hyperize when it first released in 2009. Because of this, they gave him, and a few other NBA ballers, throwback characters in the Hyperize ad titled “Hyperizers ? Don?t Criticize (Hyperize)”. His Hyperize character, Velvet Hoop, inspired this particular colorway of Durant?s second signature shoe. A red patent leather base combined with a yellow midsole, a green outsole and a multi-colored inner lining definitely solidified itself as one of Durant’s loudest.
