Nike continues its Summer of Basketball celebration with a look at the Nike Air More Uptempo. Branding was never the same after this shoe actually had the word ?AIR? in big letters on the inner and outer panels. The huge lettering embodied the soul of the 90?s, where everything from cars to jeans to jewelry was bigger and bolder. Lead designer, Evan Wilson, aligned the words to line up exactly with the visible Air Max bags along the sole.
