Why it could?ve made the list: By the late 90s, basketball players were the biggest names in sports and rock stars were the boldest icons in entertainment. Dennis Rodman was both. Rodzilla was NBA and MTV at the same time, racking up rings and rebound records in the AS 91.
Why it didn?t: Though the AS 91 serves as Rodman?s most recognizable signature, it probably showcases his personality the least. Semi-signatures from Nike like the Darwin and the Ndestrukt did a better job but weren?t totally his. The Nike Air Worm was never really rocked on court and the Converse AS Rodman lacks the fandom of its peers.
