Dennis Rodman was an icon of the MTV era. Hard rock on the hardwood, he was just as much a rebel as he was a rebounder. Such attitude made him an interesting endorser for footwear. After working with Nike, Converse gave Rodman a shoe deal and two signatures. With the Chevron now out of the basketball realm and Rodman too outspoken for many, a retro release would likely be too risky for Converse.
