As much as signature star power is celebrated these days, one of the things that made ’90s footwear awesome was daring design and downright strange styling. The Nike Air Money was not as clean or flashy as the name may imply, borrowing the bottom of the Much Uptempo and taking the branding a different direction with its unusual lacing system. These shoes aren’t as much about ‘who’ made them hot as ‘what’ made them unique. Because of this, it’s hard to imagine the demand for a retro being there.
