Since the opening scene of the docuseries The Last Dance, MJ was seen wearing the first pair of the Air Jordan 1 Centre Court. Many believed the sneaker would remain a PE for His Airness but, after the success of the Netflix series, the marketing team at Jordan Brand decided to release the sneaker to the masses.
The offering is crafted in a neutral grey perforated leather upper with the signature Wings theme at the rear of the shoe. Returning motifs include suede on the tongue and heel, followed by citrus liners. For the finishing touches, the iteration rests atop a white rubber sole.
For now, release details are limited but, the Air Jordan 1 Centre Court “Neutral Grey” releases this year at Nike and select retailers for $135. Take a look at the images below, and head over to our Jordan 1 and Air Jordan release pages for more updates on upcoming J’s. Stay tuned for more at Nice Kicks.
