JT is next in line to get a JB signature sneaker.

UPDATE (1/16/23):

Nice Kicks has received information that the reportedly leaked image of the Jordan Tatum 1 is not the pair that will release.

Stay tuned as we continue to follow the story.

UPDATE (1/13/23):

After leaked images of the upcoming Jordan Tatum 1 arrived yesterday, Jayson Tatum made it clear during a post game interview that the supposed sneaker is “not real” and “not necessarily exactly how they look.”

Although the Boston Celtics Forward claims that the leaked images are “not real,” he didn’t confirm or deny any of the design elements of the sneaker. So while this early sample may not be completely accurate, it’s likely that the official sneaker will have a similar look.

Tatum expressed that he’s very excited to debut the pair and that he’ll be wearing them very soon.

UPDATE (1/12/23):

We finally get a first look at the Jordan Tatum 1 — Jayson Tatum’s upcoming signature sneaker with Jordan Brand.

Arriving in a black and red colorway, the sneaker is comprised of a textured mesh upper with leather accents throughout. The heel counter features a detailed pattern that is topped with a gold Jumpman. Tatum goes even more abstract with the sneaker’s midsole as the unit features asymmetrical windows lined with glossy trim that extend onto the upper.

The Jordan Tatum 1 is expected to release in the summer with more information to arrive in the upcoming months. Take a look at the sneaker below and follow Nice Kicks on Instagram to stay on top of the latest news & sneaker release dates.

UPDATE (10/31): Jayson Tatum has revealed on “In-Depth With Graham Bensinger” that his first signature shoe will arrive in March 2023.

Original story from December 8, 2021, is found below.

During an appearance on Quentin Richardson’s Knuckleheads podcast, Jayson Tatum revealed that his first signature sneaker with Jordan Brand is on the way.

“I can’t tell you all exactly when,” Tatum said. “But it’s on the way. It’s on the way.”

Tatum will be joining an exclusive club of members that can boast their own Jordan signature sneaker. Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, Blake Griffin, Russell Westbrook, and most recently Zion Williamson are the only players with a Jordan signature line.

After hooping in a plethora of Jordan 34, 35, and 36 PEs, it makes sense for the Celtics wing to be next in line for a signature shoe as Jordan Brand looks to usher in the next wave of NBA superstars.

Tatum joined Jordan Brand in 2019 on a multi-year deal after previously spending two years with parent company Nike.
