Jordan Brand blesses their athletes with Player Exclusives or PEs every so often such as the Air Jordan 6 “Fraternity” PE in December 2021 and with the NFL season ending in less than a month, an Air Jordan 5 PE is on its way to the football players on the roster and made to look like an NFL helmet.
The sneaker features a glossy white upper with iridescent netting on the quarter panels and on the tongue. A red and black stripe falls down the heel of the sneaker with 23 featured on the lateral sides and a warning label on the medial side which is typically seen on football helmets. A white midsole with a visible Air unit in the heel and the WWII fighter plane-inspired flame is seen in black with red speckles. Lastly, translucent outsoles are used on the heel and forefoot with the Jumpman on the forefoot seen in navy.
The Air Jordan 5 “NFL Helmet” PE is not getting a release and is limited to 19 pairs in total, most likely going to the Jordan Brand athletes in the NFL. Check out the photos below and let us know on Twitter and Instagram where these rank as far as Air Jordan PEs.
