There’s no greater testimony than the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1s to show Virgil Abloh’s desire to think big and live life in color. The late designer changed the game last year when he brought Nike to the Louis Vuitton for the Spring 2022 men’s runway show, revealing 47 different pairs of the classic Air Force 1 silhouette.

Since that show, we’ve seen numerous pairs pop up online in the hands of friends and family. More colorways are appearing day-by-day, especially since Sotheby’s already auctioned off the first 200 pairs. The bidding began at $2,000 and raised a total of $25.3 million for Virgil’s “POST-MODERN” Scholarship Fund.

The Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1s come in an endless mix of bright colors and iconic LV motifs. The upper uses premium calf leather, with a lot of the designs incorporating embossed LV prints. Virgil’s signature design elements can be seen on the side tongue tag, shoelace text, and dual “Air” branding on the midsole. A fleet of monochromatic pairs have appeared online, but these pairs have been reserved for friends and family and will not be for sale.

As far as the retail releases go, the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 will only be offered to select customers. Unfortunately if you don’t already have a relationship with a Louis Vuitton salesperson, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll be able to purchase a pair at retail. The price remains unknown. Official photos should be coming soon, but in the meantime, take a look below at all the pairs that have been revealed thus far.
