Nike Dresses the Air Griffey Max 1 in “Aquamarine”

For Spring 2022, Nike will be dropping a fresh new “Aquamarine” take on one of its streetwear staples, the Air Griffey Max 1.

Nodding to the Seattle Mariners’ alternate uniform and the models’ OG counterparts, this upcoming Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Aquamarine” features a smooth white leather base accented with aqua teal nubuck overlays, black straps, and black forefoot Swoosh insignias. Elsewhere, red is used for the miniature Swoosh logos on the tongues and ankle strap. Rounding out the final design cues is a white midsole and a black rubber outsole.
