Nike Gives the Air Force 1 “82” a Bold NY Taxi Makeover

In celebration of the Air Force 1’s 40^th anniversary, Nike is giving the iconic silhouette a New York City taxi makeover.

The bold yellow hue of the ubiquitous transportation dresses almost the entirety of Nike Air Force 1 “82” leather construction. Contrasting white is used to elevate the textile tongue, suede heel tab, and profile Swooshes, the latter of which additionally boasts a black suede layer underneath. Retro-styled “Nike” branding makes its way to the heels, while the tongue tabs showcase “82” alongside a floral accent. Down below is a speckled white midsole.
