The Bryant Giles x New Balance 2002R Mule is a Summer Classic

Looks like the Bryant Giles x New Balance 2002R Mule will be joining the release of the Bryant Giles x New Balance 2002R scheduled for sometime this year. Considering the mule silhouette of this latest addition, it could be possible that we see both these sneakers drop as soon as this Summer.

Bryant Giles takes the popular New Balance 2002R silhouette and chops off the back half, creating a new mule formation of the sneaker. The upper is crafted with Sail colored canvas that features original artwork from Giles himself. Thoughtful traces in the shape of faces and other abstract happenings cover the sculptural overlays. New Balance branding is seen on the tongue as well as on the signature New Balance “N,” which looks as though it may be a removable velcro patch. The insoles act as an extended canvas as they feature a burst of Giles’ artwork.

The Bryant Giles x New Balance 2002R Slip-On “The Artist’s Shoe” is set to release on July 11th via GoneHomme.com. A wider release will take place on July 21st, via NewBalance.com and select retailers. The retail price is set at $160. Check out the shoe below and follow @NiceDrops on Twitter.
