Akio Hasegawa Styles the New Balance 1906R

The New Balance 1906R is officially in its comeback season as the 2009 silhouette gets dressed by Japanese Stylist Akio Hasegawa. This model is also rumored to be releasing in collaboration with sneaker retailer size?, offering two new colorways of the silhouette.

The standout detail on the New Balance 1906R reworks the signature New Balance “N,” which is made with extra laces looped through the letter. Other updated features include the midsole, which opts for the unit from the New Balance 860v2, rather than the original midsole from 2009. The upper is made with white mesh and black overlays that are complete with gold accents.
