The Air Jordan 1 Mid Puts Up Numbers From MJ’s Rookie Season

This upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid colorway pays homage to Michael Jordan’s rookie season in 1984/1985 in which he won Rookie of the Year in a landslide.

The sneaker uses a white leather base with patent leather seen in red and clear on the overlays. The Swoosh and ankle flap are seen in red with a jeweled Wings logo as well as the Jumpman branding on the tongue tag. The translucent overlays on the laces and heel counter feature MJ’s signature and bio similarly seen on trading cards with his team, position, weight, and more printed in black on the heel. The red insoles also feature MJ’s stat line from his rookie year with a white midsole and red outsole finishing off the sneaker.
