Disney and “Cruella” Split the adidas Stan Smith

Cruella de Vil is usually a fashion trendsetter, but in this case she’s following the footsteps of “Kermit” and “Genie” as she joins the Disney x adidas collection with the Stan Smith “Cruella.”

Inspired by Cruella’s classic black-and-white aesthetic, this adidas Stan Smith goes for a minimal approach. The lateral panels are dressed in white, while the medial sides are adorned in black. Much like the 50/50 colorway, the upper is made of 50% recycled material. Although Cruella isn’t the kindest character, you can wear these sneakers with pride knowing that you’re doing something good for the world. Stan Smith’s portrait is seen on one tongue, while Cruella’s is seen on the other. The heel tabs feature the adidas Trefoil as well as text that reads, “It’s not easy being green” — a nod to the sneaker’s recycled Primegreen materials.
