Jordan Brand is dropping an Air Jordan 36 for Rui Hachimura that taps into his Japanese heritage and the significance of cranes and cherry blossoms in Japan and an Air Jordan 1 Low OG is a part of the collection that’s only available to friends and family.
The sneaker features a black base with cranes and cherry blossoms printed throughout the sneaker. Cranes symbolize good fortune and longevity in Japan with cherry blossoms symbolizing human life, transience, and nobleness. The Swoosh is seen in black with metallic gold trim with the Nike Air branding on the tongue tag and the Wings logo on the heel seen in metallic gold as well. Lastly, a white midsole and grey outsole finishes off the sneaker.
The Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Cranes” will not be released to the public and be given to friends and family of Rui and Jordan Brand. Check out the photos below and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page.
