Junya Watanabe and the New Balance Tokyo Design Studio Come Together on the Nobium Concept 2

After making its debut at the SS23 Paris runway show, the Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance Tokyo Design Studio Nobium Concept 2 is finally preparing to launch. This silhouette was first introduced in 2021 and immediately garnered attention for its versatile function.

This experimental silhouette comes dressed in a combination of black premium leathers, lightweight mesh, tough suede, geometric webbing with FIDLOCK magnetic buckles, and high-shine reflectors. The model combines utility and transformation with “JWCdGMAN” heel straps that can be removed, transforming the shoe from sandals to mules. The upper sits atop a Vibram midsole, providing comfort and durability across a variety of terrain.
