A couple of months ago, a limitless amount of new Jordan Brand performance silhouettes surfaced on eBay such as the Carmichael, the Ol’ School IV and the Jordan Take Flight. Many of you took a liking to the latter model more than the other two, and you inquired about release information regarding this shoe. We have now learned that the Jordan Take Flight will release in at least two colorways in the coming months. Specifically, the White/Varsity Royal-Stealth-Light Graphite color scheme of the Jordan Take Flight will be available on October 6th, while the Black/Varsity Purple-Anthracite-White will hit retailers on December 1st, 2010 ($150 each).
One of the more interesting features on this shoe is the full-length Air sole unit, an attribute we have never seen on a Jordan silhouette. This element may remind many of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII. Minimal branding is applied to the columns that section off the Air sole unit on the pair above, however, the Black/Varsity Purple-Anthracite-White does not possess this feature. Both Jordan Take Flights also rely heavy on contrast stitching as a design cue.
