After the resurgence of the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low, another tech-inspired colorway has surfaced with a sample of the Nike Air Max 1 “Google.” This sample is extremely rare as it’s believed that there’s only one pair in existence.
Compared side-by-side to the eBay Dunk, the Nike Air Max 1 takes on similar color blocking clad with primary colors. The sneaker is crafted with high-gloss leather in shades of White, Red, Greeen, Yellow, and Blue. Besides the signature Google colors, there’s no visible Google branding, but the inside of the tongue features an embroidered “7,” which is a nod to the 7th letter of the alphabet — G, for Google. The sample tag identifies the sneaker as a pair from Spring 2010, with “Joy Patent/Silkroad” being the official colorway as a cheeky nod to internet culture.
Although this sneaker won’t be releasing, you can feast your eyes on the Nike Air Max 1 “Google” Sample below. For more sneaker news and release dates, follow @NiceKicks on Instagram.
