Earlier this year, we got a first look at the adidas Yeezy 450 Slide in a cool “Cream” colorway despite Ye’s disapproval. Following adidas pulling the plug on its Yeezy partnership after a historic meltdown from the artist, the Three Stripes has decided to sell its remaining Yeezy inventory, which is said to be worth over $530 million USD.
Before the tumultuous Yexit, the adidas Yeezy 450 Slide was believed to be released in December 2022. Of course, that day never came, but we now know that there are two colorways that have already been produced. The initial pair was “Ophani,” while this new “Cream” colorway.
The adidas Yeezy 450 Slide “Cream” features a simple yet versatile design and color scheme make in it a perfect option for those looking for a laid-back look. Made from a single piece of lightweight and durable EVA foam, the upper opts for a web-like structure for added ventilation. Down below is a cushioned midsole and contoured outsole featuring a wavy traction pattern for grip. Lastly, the pair is rounded off with subtle adidas branding debossed into the footbed.
Mark your calendars as the adidas Yeezy 450 Slide “Cream” is set to release on August 2 via adidas.com/Yeezy and select Yeezy retailers. The pair will retail for $110. Keep it locked to our Yeezy Release Dates Page for updates.
