Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 15 Receives an “Olympic” Makeover

To pay tribute to Kevin Durant’s Olympic achievements, Nike Basketball is readying a celebratory KD 15 for the NBA All-Star.

Aptly arriving in a colorway fit for an Olympian, the upcoming Nike KD 15 “Olympic” sports a “Metallic Gold,” “Midnight Navy,” “University Red,” and “Orewood Brown” outfit. Gold is used predominantly throughout the silhouette from the knitted upper to the TPU cage and heel details, as well as arriving as speckled dots on the midsole. Red and blue help add contrasting hits to the tongue, laces, liner, and midsole. Durant’s achievements are further spotlighted on the inner tongues, while the specked midsole and navy outsole help round out the final design cues of this offering.

A very similar patriotic red, white, and blue look was also featured on the KD4 “USA”, which was released in 2012
