A slew of archived samples have been resurfacing as of late, with the Air Jordan 18 OVO “Gold” Sample and the Nicki Minaj x Air Jordan 6 Low “Pinkprint” Sample being some of the most notable. The Air Jordan 4 Premium “Black Woven” Sample is the latest to reemerge as the sneaker first popped up circa 2016.

At first glance of the Air Jordan 4 Premium “Black Woven,” it’s easy to understand why the pair remained a sample, as the detailed upper looks challenging to construct. From heel to toe, the entire sneaker is covered in woven leather twine. The leather detailing carries onto the tongue and eyestays, as well as the debossed Jumpman on the tongue tag and heel. The sneaker is finished with waxed laces and a Black rubber midsole.
