Back in 2012, Nike Basketball and Kevin Durant dropped a “Year of the Dragon” KD 4 as a Chinese New Year release to celebrate the Chinese Zodiac sign. As 2024 once again marks the Year of the Dragon, the duo is set to release a successor to the aforementioned model.
Dubbed the Nike KD 4 “Year of the Dragon 2.0”, the upcoming offering is expected to drop in early 2024 just in time for the Lunar New Year festivities. Images showcase the shoe’s khaki, noble red, sesame, cacao wow, and gum yellow outfit. KD’s logo appears on the tongues and heels along with special nods to the “Year of the Dragon” and Chinese heritage.
