The sun is shining in Phoenix as Devin Booker‘s signature shoe with Nike is well on its way.
Earlier this year, it was reported that the Nike BOOK 1 would release in Spring 2024 after months’ worth of rumors that the guard would be the brand’s signature athlete.
The Nike BOOK 1 finally surfaces via Sneaker News in an all-black colorway with a gold Swoosh. With references to classic Nike Basketball models-turned-lifestyle staples such as the Air Force 1 and the Nike Vandal in a 3/4-cut, the Nike BOOK 1 captures Book’s style with the help of Swoosh icons to create the ultimate performance shoe that can be worn off the court.
Other details include suede, mesh, and a nubuck build along with Devin’s birth year referenced on the pull tap with the BOOK 1 logo on the tongue tag.
Additionally, images of an all-orange Nike Craftsman accompanied the revelation of the BOOK 1. Though the top eyestay reads as “BOOK,” it’s unclear s to whether or not the shoe will be part of the guard’s signature shoe line. However, it could be likely given Booker’s affinity for Tom Sach’s NikeCraft line, specifically the Mars Yard.
