Under Armour and Notre Dame extend their partnership for another decade as the global footwear and apparel sports brand and the Fighting Irish announced an extension to their partnership.
Under Armour’s sponsorship with the school commenced in 2014 with a deal that exceeded $90 million per reports. Since then, UA has outfitted Notre Dame across its eight national championships and the school’s 30 Olympians.
The next 10 years between the brand and the institution will be focused on facilitating opportunities for student-athletes to have hands-on involvement in Under Armour’s innovation and design processes from creating product solutions to understanding the business functions of the brand.
“Under Armour works relentlessly to partner with institutions that share our values and our love for athletes — and we know we have that collective vision in Notre Dame,” said Sean Eggert, SVP of Global Sports Marketing at Under Armour. “The next decade of our union between Notre Dame and Under Armour will allow us to continue our legacy of supporting the next generation.”
