This April, Nike is paying homage to the baseball icon, Jackie Robinson, with a special Air Max 1 ’86 release.

Dressed in a midnight navy, obsidian, sail, metallic gold, and gym light brown color scheme, the upcoming Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Jackie Robinson” is crafted from premium soft suede. Nods to the player include the metallic gold “42” patch on the tongues and special branded insoles marking Jackie Robinson Day on April 15. The pair’s refined aesthetic is further elevated with gold lace dubraes and lace eyelets. This all sits atop a white midsole and gum rubber outsole.
