Following a bevy of collaborations last fall alongside fragment design and UNDEFEATED, the Converse Weapon returns to the brand’s lineup just ahead of the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend.
To kick off the launch, Converse tapped Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to lead the campaign, dubbed “Create History, Not Hype”, as he heads into his first NBA All-Star Game as a starter. The Converse Weapon arrives in its original colorways of black and natural ivory, as well as a vintage white, ash, stone, and egret color scheme. The silhouette is crafted from leather, while the signature Star Chevron underlays are dipped in contrasting hues. Lastly, each colorway is rounded off with egret cupsoles and outsoles, and the Weapon’s Y-bar.
The Converse Weapon was originally launched almost 40 years ago at All-Star Weekend, thus making its return a celebrated one. Both Converse Weapon colorways are available now via Converse.com and select retailers for $140.
