Corteiz and Nike have more on the way after a fruitful 2023 landed the Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 collection as Collaboration of the Year in our inaugural 2023 Nice Kicks Awards.

To follow up, the Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 “Tour Yellow” will be the collaborative partnership’s fourth installment. Living up to its name, the pair arrives in an all-black look with a tour yellow Air unit and Corteiz branding.

The Nike Air Max 95 is a cornerstone of sneaker culture and a revolutionary design that helped shape modern sneaker aesthetics and the subculture that has risen to mainstream status.

Released in 1995, the Air Max 95 was designed by Sergio Lozano, whose vision drew inspiration from human anatomy, specifically the structure of muscles, ribs, and vertebrae.

One of the most groundbreaking features of the Air Max 95 was the introduction of visible Air units in the forefoot, a first for the Air Max line. The innovation not only enhanced performance but also made the shoe a fashion statement.

The use of reflective 3M detailing on the upper added a futuristic touch, while the layered mesh and synthetic suede construction provided durability and breathability.

Ahead of the AM95’s 30th anniversary, the Corteiz x Nike relationship once more taps the AM95 with a “Tour Yellow” offering that blends nostalgia and modern hype.

The latest Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 “Tour Yellow” is expected to release in late 2024. The pair could release on Cortez’s site, a regional pop-up, or on SNKRS.
