A classic Nike sneaker is returning this year as the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon “Sport Red” will see a release this holiday season, confirmed via SNKRS Showcase.

Designed by Christian Tresser, who also designed the Air Max 97 and even some adidas Yeezy footwear, the Air Zoom Spiridon arrived in 1997 and has seen the retro treatment numerous times with releases in 2005 and from 2016 to 2018.

Most notably, the 2016 NikeLab “Sport Red” release and the Stash x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon collab from 2017 are hailed as some of the best versions of the shoe.

The timing of the latest Zoom Spiridon retro arrives as Nike unveils the latest project with Travis Scott with the Travis Scott x Nike Shark-A-Don silhouette, which features the midsole tooling of the Spiridon.

The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon “Sport Red” is expected to release for $160 in Holiday 2024 via SNKRS and select retailers.
