Clark, whose list of NCAA accolades is as impressive as expansive, will continue to make history by becoming the fourth signature shoe athlete in WNBA history within the last decade (Breanna Stewart with PUMA in 2022; Elena Delle Donne with Nike in 2022; and Sabrina Ionescu in 2023).
Nike wasn’t the only lucrative brand offering Clark a deal as she received offers of $16 million over four years from Under Armour and $6 million over four years from adidas; both deals included a signature shoe, according to The Wall Street Journal.
PUMA was reportedly interested in Clark as well but walked away when told the bidding would start at $3 million per year, according to the WSJ.
