A variation from the typical Converse lineup, the Run Star Trainer revitalizes elements of Converse’s extensive sport history and merges historical roots with modern design, catering to those who value versatility, self-expression, and comfort. This new silhouette embodies a synthesis of the brand’s heritage, pulling from nearly 20 legacy styles initially designed for sports like karate, fencing, soccer, wrestling, and even steeplechase. The shoe’s outsole tread pattern takes a cue from the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star, extending through the heel and stamped with the Star logo from the Run Star Hike.

The Run Star Trainer’s upper, crafted from a mix of nylon, suede, and leather, offers rich dimensionality and bold color choices, including Golden Wren, Blue, Red, Egret, and Black.

The Converse Run Star Trainer releases on June 18, 2024, for $90 via Converse.com and select retail stores.
