Nike SB is back at it again, serving up a fresh twist on skateboarding heritage with the PS8 “Safari”.

For a bit of history, the PS8 silhouette is the brainchild of pro skater Paul Rodriguez, aka P-Rod. This eighth iteration in his signature line continues the legacy of one of the most influential skate shoe series in the game.

Nike’s taking it to the next level by draping the PS8 in the iconic “Safari” print, which first dropped in ’87 on the Air Safari, designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield. It was inspired by an ostrich leather couch in a high-end furniture store. The PS8 “Safari” arrives with a black and orange base, allowing that grey safari print to pop off.

But it’s not all about looks. The PS8 is packed with tech that’ll have you skating like P-Rod himself. The Zoom Air unit in the heel provides responsive cushioning for those big drops, while the reinforced ollie area ensures durability for your wildest tricks.

Look for the Nike SB PS8 “Safari” to be released in 2024 via Nike.com and select retailers for $130. Keep it locked to Nice Kicks on Instagram and the sneaker release dates to stay on top of the latest news and drops.
