The next chapter in Kevin Durant‘s signature shoe line is here as the Nike KD 18 will be worn by The Slim Reaper during the 2024-2025 NBA season.

With the Nike KD 17 inspired by the Nike Air Max Plus, Nike Basketball will once again revisit Nike DNA as the Air Humara inspires the upper of Durant’s 18th signature shoe.

Despite KD and Nike not seeing eye-to-eye this summer as the Suns forward was left off the brand’s “Winning Isn’t For Everyone” ad, the signature shoe cadence remains intact.

During the 2024-2025 Phoenix Suns media day before the new season, Durant spoke about his relationship with Nike ahead of the Nike KD 18.

“Everything’s on schedule, just like it always is,” Durant told Nice Kicks during the press conference. “Sometimes you have a conversation like that as family and move on.”

The KD 18 is anticipated with the Air Humara-inspired upper with a TPU cage and open mesh on the toe box with a suede overlay. As for the cushioning, it will have a cushlon midsole, DOT weld heel Strobel, and Air Zoom in the forefoot.

The Nike KD 18 is scheduled to be released in 2025 for $150 via Nike.com and select retailers.
