Nike is once again tapping into the Jason Voorhees lore with the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “Jason Mask” release.
Jason Voorhees, the unstoppable force from Friday the 13th, slashed his way into sneaker culture with one of the most memorable Nike SB Dunk releases to date — the Nike SB Dunk High “Jason Voorhees” colorway. The horror-themed Dunk High plays on all the bloody details that made Jason a household name in horror, right down to the chilling red and white leather overlays and dark accents that echo his notorious hockey mask and gruesome style.
Released in the early 2000s, the “Jason Voorhees” SB Dunk quickly became a grail for horror fans and SB collectors alike. The sneaker taps into the thrill of classic slasher films, merging Nike’s SB Dunk High silhouette with design cues that mirror the blood-stained legacy of Camp Crystal Lake.
The Swoosh will reprise the iconic slasher as the toebox perforations of the Air Force 1 are recreated to emulate Jason’s signature mask. Other details include the classic AF1 box and premium leather quality.
