In addition to the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 2011, Jordan Brand will also release the limited edition Air Jordan 5 Premio, for $175 next Saturday. This marks the latest offering from Jordan Brand’s highly-detailed Bin 23 Collection. As stated in our previous post regarding this sneaker, the designers was inspired by long time Jordan head Alex Meacham’s love and experience with black shoes and white laces. Meacham recalled watching a 1990 NBA playoff game in which Michael Jordan torched the Milwaukee Bucks while wearing black Air Jordan 5s with white laces. He also shared his experience at a high school prep basketball camp in which many of the players rocked black shoes with white laces. Therefore, JB incorporated white laces in this black, premium leather Air Jordan 5 Premio. Other features include a metallic silver tongue, and icy sole, a red lacelock and a red Jumpman logo on the outsole. View detailed photos below.
