It’s always nice to see sneaker brands supply their members with themed sneakers for particular holidays. Last month, our Kicks On Court saw multiple brands strap their members with themed MLK Day sneakers. Also, a plethora of players laced up special green and red sneakers for Christmas. Last night, a few of the Jordan Brand members expressed their love for Valentine’s Day through mainly red sneakers. In detail, Gerald Wallace and Stephen Jackson helped the Bobcats thrash the Lakers while wearing predominately red colored Jordan Evolution ’85, while Joe Johnson also wore this sneaker in a blowout win against the Detroit Pistons. Lastly, Carmelo Anthony laced up a new, all-red colorway of the Jordan Melo M7 in a losing effort against the Houston Rockets. This ‘Varsity Red’ Jordan Melo M7 will hit retailers on February 17, 2011, while the Jordan Evolution ’85 will show up at retailers some time in March. View these kicks plus more, worn by Kobe Bryant, Anthony Morrow, Mike Bibby and others, below.
