No, this isn’t a “Lightning” Air Jordan 5. It will however, light up the eyes of everyone around it. This limited AJ5 was produced?in honor of the Japanese streetball culture-honoring Tokyo23 tournament set to be held in Tokyo next month. It sports a bright yellow nubuck upper, grey accents and all of the signature silhouette features we’ve come to know and love. Naturally, an icy outsole sits underneath. In place of the traditional “23” foxing embroidery, traditional Japanese writing is in place. Our Japanese brethren will be the only ones with a chance to grab a pair, but you can get your connection in line if you’re really feeling this late April release.
